Poughkeepsie Joe, or Bellamy Bill - or whatever that groundhog's name is - should be fired. I swear he didn't see his shaddow, which means spring is on the way - right? Not here! Everyone was pretty surprised to wake up to rain this morning, then have about 10" of snow by dinner time.
The boys, of course, have had a blast. Glen was pretty disappointed that school closed early, and he didn't get to have wrestling today... but all was forgotten as he and Maddox constructed the world's finest "snowmantelope." Kinda creepy, kinda cute.
My favorite feature is the vertebrae bow tie. How many families have bones lying around for snowman making materials? Just ours? Probably.
The boys were also extra-cute... they had a blast. First the snowmantelope, then a huge snowball fight, then some snow-wrestling... It's great they had so much fun... less great that there is this much more laundry. I just finished washing the winter clothes (because spring is coming, dontcha know).
Finally, the evening was capped off with a few turns down the hill on the sled. Fun! Hopefully March will go out like a lamb... then the goofy groundhog can keep his job.
