O' Christmas Tree...

We started a new, and incredibly fun tradition for Christmas last year with our friends Ben and Melissa (and their kids Rivera and Luna). We continued it this year, meeting at our neighbor's house to select our trees together (and play hide-and-seek in the tree farm!), connect and drink hot cider in the morning. Then we each went home to decorate our trees, and met up again that evening for a fantastic dinner.

The kids had a blast, and it was a great time with friends at the start of the Christmas season!

As a bonus - this year it was snowing when we picked out our tree. Here are my little elves in front of the tree they chose.

Maddox kept running around sucking the snow off the tree branches. Very cute.

Here I asked him what he was doing. His response.... "What. Snow!"

The finished product, all decorated. The kids had a blast hanging the ornaments on the tree - and were thrilled that there were PRESENTS underneath as well!
